I was a student to the skin and make up institute. I began class at the institute January 25th of 2022. My experience with the institute was an unorthodox one to say the least, but the end of my experience came August 2nd. Throughout my experience, myself and my peers have felt the bias abuse of the schools owner and certain professors in the act of hurtful comments and conversations, unexplained breaks in which we were not aloud to return to class while others were, and disrespectful antics. The reason given to me for termination shall follow. The week prior to my termination, *****(professor) and **********(professor), explained to our class that we can fill out an application with a company named ************ in order to receive a trial product. After discussing this with my peers and gaining and understanding of exactly how to accomplish this. I set In an order for myself. In there process of ordering my trial products, the company asked for the School name, Phone Number, address, and email. As my peers have explained they did, I applied all of the above, and placed ******* (owner) email within the email region, in order for them to verify my student contract with my school. **** an Hush then made the mistake of sending these products to my the school, instead of verifying my account. As I returned to school, ***********************************(owner) and ***** then had me pulled into an office where they then explained that I committed fraud and that I was not only terminated, but I will also have charges filed against me. I explained that this was a mistake and that I was just following their recommendation to explore new products. I was then told to leave the property. After this happened, I contacted the owner of Hush and ****(*************************), who apologized profusely and then reached out to ****** Bryant in order to vouch on my behalf. Explaining that she(****) was out of town at the time and instead of verifying my account, they accidentally sent the products to the school.
